Is it ever late to start building career? |

Not every one has the privilege of fulfilling their career visions while they are still young and spry. It does not matter whether you are a 17-year-old student just about to start your career or a 64-year-old on the verge of retirement, it is never too late to fulfill your dreams.
Career building goals can be formulated at any age, whether 13 or 30. More important thing is find time to sit down and plan out your career goals. Building your career may take time, effort, and more than a bit of gumption, trust me there's nothing like mapping out your vision of life and career objectives in an organized manner.
Just ask yourself these questions:
- What is my career goal?
- Can i be happy and content with this career choice in coming years?
- Can my career choice sustain me with my growing needs in coming years?
- Are there enough growth prospects in future?
- Does my career goal goes well with my personal beliefs and values?
- Can i fulfill my goals with my time and physical limitations?
- Do i have enough time in life to achieve my targets?
- Would i be able to sustain myself in learning period?
- Do i really like doing this?
Honest answer to these questions, will help you a lot in making your career choice, do not just go with the flow and do what everyone is doing these days, instead plan your goals, taking into account your background, beliefs and values. Always take a long term approach, what may seem lucrative today may not be so in future, don't just factor in what amount of money you would be making, instead take in consideration would you be able to do so everyday for coming years. I have seen people making choices just based on money factor and getting stagnated and lugging along in life without any job satisfaction.
